Are you taking new patients?

Yes, and you do not need a referral. Phone 647.479.3151 or ask for a time on the contact page.

When are you open?

Wednesday to Friday, 11 am to 7 pm, and every other Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. Closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. The Saturdays alternate, so call to check which one before you come. Hours and directions.

My tooth hurts today. Can I be seen?

Phone as early in the day as you can and say what happened. Dental emergencies says what helps in the meantime, and what to do when we are closed.

What does it cost?

It depends on the treatment, and you get the figure in writing before anything starts. See insurance and financing.

Do you bill my insurance directly?

Most Ontario plans are sent straight from the office. You pay the part your plan does not cover, at the end of the visit.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

Yes. Tell us when you book and bring your member ID. We bill Sun Life directly, so you pay your co-payment and anything the plan does not cover. Who qualifies, and what the plan pays for.

Do you see children?

Yes, from about age one. The first visit is a ride in the chair, a count of the teeth and a look. See children's dentistry.

I am frightened of the dentist.

Say so when you book. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is here for any appointment: you stay awake and can talk, and it wears off before you leave.

Do you do implants and wisdom teeth here?

Yes. Dr. Malik holds a residency in oral surgery, so both are done in this office rather than referred out.

Where do I park?

In the plaza lot at 5031 Hurontario Street, across Armdale Road — the nearest parking to the office. There is no parking on Hurontario itself. See parking and directions.
